ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the effects of sensomotor insole (SMI) on gait and energy expenditure in children with spastic cerebral palsy during walking. Methods:From December, 2014 to March, 2016, 42 children with spastic cerebral palsy aged three to 15 years were recruited. Their gait parameters and energy expenditure of six minute walking were measured under two test conditions: walking with shoes and walking with shoes and SMI. Results:After wearing SMI, the walking distance, speed, left step length and right step length were all greater (t = -6.022~-4.331, Z= -4.814~-4.183, P < 0.001), the both feet single limb support was shorter (t = 2.954, P < 0.05), and the energy expenditure was higher than before (t = -2.358, P < 0.05). Conclusion:SMI as a sort of orthopedic insole, could improve the gait parameters of children with cerebral palsy immediately after wearing it, and increase the energy expenditure slightly.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To establish a new method using AOTF-Near infrared spectroscopy for fast identifying Fufang Danshen tablets.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Near-infrared spectroscopy of Fufang Danshen tablets from different factories and different bacth numbers were collected and the discriminant analysis model (FFDS-C) was established with principal component analysis. This model was applied to predict the the different samples of Fufang Danshn tablets.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The model can be used to precisely identify Fufang Danshen tablets from other samples.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The method with low consumption is simple and quick and can be applied to the identification of the Fufang Danshen tablets.</p>

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo explore risk factors of children accidental injuries.MethodsThe data of 63 children of accidental injuries admitted in our hospital from 1992 to 2003 was analyzed retrospectively.ResultsFalling, tumble for learning walking and traffic accident were dangerous factors in <3 years group, falling and traffic accident in 3-6 years group, and traffic accident and playground accident in 7-14 years group.ConclusionAccidental injuries can make permanent functional handicap and disability to children, and severely affect theirs growth and life quality. So a great intention will be paid to research of children accidental injuries.

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo explore the effect of variable hip abduction orthosis on children spastic cerebral palsy.Methods5 children with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy had used variable hip abduction orthosis to correct scissors gait which remained after rehabilitation. The stepping of 5 children was assessed with a gait analysis system base on digital video and image processing which could provide distance rate between knees and hips(K/I) in gait phase. One year Follow up was carried out.ResultsThere was significant difference on K/I before and after using variable hip abduction orthorsis (P<0.05).ConclusionThe variable hip abduction orthorsis can inhibit adductor muscles convulsion, improve model kinesis of scissors gait and stabilize stepping.

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of rehabilitative treatment on different groups of infants with cerebral palsy in different age, sickness extent and rehabilitative period.MethodsBy the prospective method, 90 patients from 3 to 36 months old were randomly divided into three groups including 3 to 12 months, 13 to 24 months and 25 to 36 months with 30 cases each. Every 10 cases in light, moderate and severe degrees were given rehabilitative care for 2 months and 3 months respectively. The personal ADL of every case was evaluated at the initial and the final state. The compared score was analyzed with T test.ResultsComparing the groups of different ages, there were prominent differences of treatment under the same sickness, among the light, moderate and severe degrees(P<0.01). The rehabilitative treatment effect of 3 months was better than that of 2 months. Furthermore the effect of the group of 3-12 months was better than that of 25-36 months.ConclusionsThe rehabilitative care is prominently effective in the light and moderate groups , the former is better and within 3 months is better than 2 months. The younger infant is, the better the rehabilitative treatment is.

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo report the intra-observer agreement study of Comprehensive Function Evaluation for Disabled Children. Methods84 disabled children in-patients were tested twice between 7-14 days by specialist. Every form was checked and accepted.ResultsThere is a significant relation between two evaluation(r=0.997,P<0.01).Conclusions There is a substantial intra-observer agreement and high reliability in Comprehensive Function Evaluation for Disable Children.
